DUST CONTROL SYSTEM - CONCRETE MANUFACTURER

Great stories have a personality. Consider telling a great story that provides personality. Writing a story with personality for potential clients will assist with making a relationship connection. This shows up in small quirks like word choices or phrases. Write from your point of view, not from someone else's experience.

Great stories are for everyone even when only written for just one person. If you try to write with a wide, general audience in mind, your story will sound fake and lack emotion. No one will be interested. Write for one person. If it’s genuine for the one, it’s genuine for the rest.

Heavy Summer Dust

The manufacturing process resulted in the dispersion of large dust particles throughout the entire facility.

High Temperatures

During the summer months, the outdoor tumbler area and indoor conveyor belt sections at the plant became excessively hot

High OperatingCosts

The dust and heat combination caused a decline in productivity and a rise in health-related expenses, leading to higher company costs.

Issue at Hand:

Jewell's manufacturing facility specializes in producing Architectural Masonry and Concrete aggregate products that are utilized in a multitude of construction projects across the United States and Canada. The plant in Richmond, TX is responsible for manufacturing pavers, concrete blocks, stones, and bricks. However, the outdoor tumbler area and indoor conveyor belt areas experience excessive heat during the summer months, while the manufacturing process results in the dispersion of heavy dust particles throughout the facility.

Proposed Solution:

In response to these challenges, Hydrobreeze Misting Systems strategically installed UL Outdoor-rated, high-velocity oscillating mist cooling fans in both the indoor and outdoor working areas. This cutting-edge system not only helped in reducing the temperatures but also effectively managed the dust particles, leading to a cooler, more comfortable, and productive working environment with improved visibility and air quality. Moreover, the overall cost of implementing this system was significantly lower than the expenses previously allocated to inefficient evaporative coolers that occupied valuable space. The Cooling/Dust suppression system was ingeniously installed overhead, requiring no additional footprint.
